Independent research confirms the benefits of Aerofoils

Independent research into the effects of Aerofoils was undertaken by the School of Energy & Power Engineering at Xi’an Jiaotong University, the School of Energy and Power Engineering at Zhengzhou University of Light Industry, and Shandong Xiaoya Refrigeration Co. Ltd.

The performance of a refrigerated open-type multi-deck display cabinet with and without Aerofoils was investigated experimentally under the CC3 conditions (25 deg C and 60% RH). The test results showed that by installing Aerofoils, the maximum temperature difference of food in the test cabinet was decreased by 0.6 deg C, the heat entrainment factor was reduced by 38.7% - 50%, and the total power consumption was reduced by 21.7%.
